Tulane Law School names award for leadership in equity, diversity, and inclusion after G&M Partner Robert Clayton

Posted by  gm admin

Tulane Law School has launched an annual leadership, diversity, and inclusion award named after and celebrating the leadership and impact of G&M partner Robert L. Clayton. Robert, a leading sports and labor law attorney and former Dean at Tulane, regularly advises clients on diversity issues and serves as G&M's Chief Diversity Officer (a service he also offers to G&M clients needing part-time diversity officers). This work builds on a long career of promoting diversity and inclusion, not only when he was a Dean at Tulane – the work he is specifically being honored for – but even now in both his legal work and charitable endeavors.

“Dean Clayton was one of the first teachers in Tulane’s legendary Sports Law Program and played a crucial leadership role in helping to recruit and mentor a generation of Tulane Law students” said the school’s current dean – David D. Meyer. “It is a privilege to honor his legacy as we celebrate the exceptional success of our alumni.”

G&M congratulates Robert on this exceptional accolade!
