  • Summary

Aaron assists clients with corporate bankruptcy, commercial and general corporate, blockchain and cryptocurrency, copyright and trademark, and entertainment law matters. Aaron’s transactional experience spans a broad range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, loan and security documents, intellectual property, entity formation, and general corporate governance. Ancillary to his corporate bankruptcy practice, Aaron also has substantial experience before other courts, such as Delaware’s Justice of the Peace Court, Court of Common Pleas, Superior Court, and the Court of Chancery.

  • Background

Before joining G&M, Aaron served as in-house legal counsel at SuperRare Labs, focusing on intellectual property and blockchain issues.

Prior to practicing law, Aaron enjoyed a fulsome career as a media producer for over a decade, fashioning video and media for clients including Arrow Benefits Group, Parker Hannifin, Mercedes-Benz, tech startups, and non-profit organizations. In that role, he produced a broad array of presentations, videos, and short films, and his work achieved millions of views. He is also involved in projects furthering his great-grandfather Yip Harburg’s legacy (Yip was the lyricist for “Over the Rainbow” and other memorable songs). Because of Aaron’s industry experience preceding law school, he is exceptionally qualified to aid musicians, filmmakers, content creators, entrepreneurs, and entertainers to protect and profit from their intellectual property and other intangible assets; Aaron understands the business from the perspective of both client and advisor.

Aaron is a founding leader for the Wilmington Strong Towns local conversation and serves as legal counsel to the Classic Planning Institute. He’s passionate about using the tools of law to implement and foster classical urbanism and architecture.

Aaron graduated summa cum laude from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media and Film. He received his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law magna cum laude on a merit-based scholarship and served as Associate Editor for his law school’s International Law Journal.
